A few fruit trees displaying their
bounty…
Pretty amazing for a growing season
with no rain!
Mesabe (semi-sweet)
cherry
A very young Reliance
peach tree…loaded! And Saturn white flesh peaches (my favorite)
Fresh peaches (Saturn and
others) and assorted peaches ready to dehydrate
Big blue (that’s the
name) plum tree…loaded with plums the size of hens’ eggs!
Takara Asian pear tree
just planted this Spring…I ate a dozen delicious pears from this little gem!
Asian pears are my
favorite!
These pears are not my
favorite but my other pear trees have not yet produced any fruit. Patience!
Honeygold apple trees:
a very young tree with two perfect apples and a tree I planted in 1994..loaded!
I have several
varieties of red apples: Cortland, McIntosh, Summer Red, Fuji, Wolf River,
and a few more (Candy
Crisp, Empire, Liberty, Gravenstein, Honeycrisp) that have not yet produced
significant crops.
The Pink Lady apple
tree (with the ladder under it) has become my new favorite apple tree!
A typical daily
harvest for me to eat and a bag of perfect honeygold apples
a sinkfiul of freshly-picked
plums: Burbank and Big blue
