Dr. Myung Hee Chung
Born in
Korea, Dr. Myung Hee Chung started playing the piano
at the age of 4 and won prestigious national competitions in Korea by the age
of 10. She came to the United States at 17 to study under Tong-Il Han and later
attended the Juilliard School in New York on scholarship, studying with Martin Canin, and received her B.M. and M.M. degrees. Her D.M.A.
degree is from Manhattan School of Music in New York, where she studied with
renowned pianist Gary Graffman.
